L’importance de l’artisanat autunois et son développement jusqu’au iiie siècle prennent racine à Bibracte qui a su exploiter les ressources naturelles de son environnement et parfaire un savoir-faire local ayant survécu à la conquête. Les recherches sur ces activités manufacturières menées conjointement à Bibracte et à Autun nous offrent ainsi une opportunité d’étudier ces problématiques sur la durée. How do airlines preferences about engines influence the competition in the commercial aircraft industry: an empirical analysis

This paper examines the competitive context in the commercial aircraft industry. In particular, the aim of the research here presented is to understand what are the main drivers influencing the choice of a specific engine manufacturer in an aircraft, and how such preferences influence the competition between Airbus and Boeing. In order to do that, we have collected data about the fleet composition of the top 25 airlines and we have located the main drivers influencing the engine configuration in: route specialization, business model and maintenance policy. Implications of such empirical findings in the competition among aircraft manufacturers are finally discussed.
Capilaridad de la manufactura textil en la Plana de Castelló. El caso de Onda en el siglo XV

Onda, a locality with an oscillating population between 300 and 600 dwellings in the 15th century and with Moslems and Jews in the local work, becomes a new piece of the puzzle that lets us see the capillarity of the wool textile manufacture in “La Plana de Castelló”. This capillarity can be seen in the production of clothes, just like in the raw material trade or in the movement of craftsmen.
